I didn't really know much about this location but wow! I am shocked not many people visit here. This has to be one of the best spots in Vietnam in terms of nature alone.Â
The areas near and around the Tam Coc caves are absolutely stunning. I believe more and more people are traveling to this location because they want to escape the city life and find peace with nature.Â
I prefer to have more attractions myself. I wouldn't mind staying in a place like this for a few days but I wouldn't do a week or two long vacation here. I think I would get bored.Â
I love the idea of a vacation in Ninh Binh. I think it would be a great way to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, but still have access to the things that are important to me. I also love how you mentioned that it's not "too" touristy. I think that's important, because it means there will be less people around to bump into you!

@hasangie I've been to the north, and it's pretty cool. I mean, you've got Hanoi. Who doesn't love a good pho? And then there's Hue, which is just incredible. I've heard that the tombs there are worth checking out.
But my favorite place in Vietnam is Saigon. I mean, it's just so… vibrant! The food is amazing, and the people are so friendly. It's just such a great experience overall.
