When it comes to ones expressions, and movements, some things may be fine in the US, but may not be in Vietnam. I hear that crossing your fingers is considered offensive to people in Vietnam, as it's essentially telling someone to F Off. What are some other expressions and movements we should not be making when in Vietnam?

I hear you shouldn't show off your tattoos, and you probably shouldn't show affection, as that may be deemed inappropriate.

Yeah, there are some things you shouldn't do when going to foreign countries. It happens. I also heard you shouldn't smile, but I don't know if that's true. It could probably be argued that it's showing affection in a way.

Either way, read up on their beliefs and you'll know more for sure.
