I eventually want to move to Vietnam and want to eventually get my medical help from doctors in Vietnam. I was wondering if healthcare in Vietnam is on par with the US or better?
It is similar to that of Mexico when compared to the US. In some areas, you will get just as good if not better care for a fraction of the cost in comparison to the US. A lot of people go to Vietnam for special treatments now because of this.
It only continues to improve and in terms of price, it is a lot more affordable compared to other countries. Even for those that have free healthcare, you have to pay for special treatment outside of basic care and it is not cheap!
I have heard and read nothing but good things. Having had some treatment in the past in Vietnam, I can tell you that they have very clean well functioning hospitals and clinics. I was blown away.
