I never looked into it but I am curious. I started getting into it a few years ago and would love to go thrifting in other countries. Vietnam is the most likely place I will be visiting next so I want to see if it is a thing there or not and where to go if there is.

Is it a thing?

Well, I am not really into this scene to know for certain but I have a feeling it is because waste and wastefulness is frowned upon.

There is! Saigon has a pretty sizable thrifting scene. I have been to a few of the places. I would recommend checking out Map Thon, Retros Boutique, Ten Rat Vui and Vietnam Fav Things which is an online store.

There is and it really depends where you go. Like some places have more options than others. Most big cities have at least 5 thrifting shops.

I never have done it but I have seen thrift shops and stalls in many different areas. I am guessing there are likely vietnam youtubers that like touch on this topic.

Vietnam has some hot spots for thrifters. All Asian countries do. I think Vietnam has a great scene for it but I have had better luck thrifting in Korea.
