I never have and I don't know anyone who has. In my book, it is one of the most welcoming countries to tourism in the world. It is insane how nice everyone is. I am curious if anyone here actually experienced anything rude from the locals.
Yes and no. I was in one of the busier markets and a man had thought I cut someone out of a line and was very angry with me but quickly apologized and offered me free food. I could understand being mad at someone for this though so I didn't take it to heart.
Not that I could recall. If I have, I did not notice! Most people greeted me with a smile and were always very helpful. Even locals (non businesses workers) were nice when they totally didn't have to be.
I have gotten some looks but I don't think it was their intention to be rude at all. I think it was more so busy people just looking around and having a straight face. No one was ever rude with me or talked down to me. Not once, ever!
At the airport but I don't count that. There are always going to be rude people at any airport in the world. Same thing happened in Japan when I went!
I never have but my brother has. I think this was down to a misunderstanding more than anything. He was not meant to be in an area he was and didn't know he was being asked to leave.
Never, not even once which has always shocked me. I have experienced it everywhere else I have traveled to but never Vietnam.
