I tend to prefer standard ice cream over soft-serve no matter where I am but gelato will always be the best to me. That is Italian ice cream. It is made a bit differently but it has a better texture and more rich flavor.
@canabee11 I feel the same. I have only had gelato a few times but I prefer it. I am not but into ice cream in general though. I prefer ice deserts since dairy doesn't tend to sit right for me.
