Is covid ever going to slow down in Vietnam?

I feel like here in the US the virus has mostly slowed down, but in Vietnam it seems they're getting a ton of cases still. I hope everyone over there is safe and gets the help they need. I hope Vietnam can slow the rate of this virus soon.

I am sure it will. I would imagine at least 60% of the population would have to come into contact with it and fight it off. The numbers go in waves as well. Some may say it would be bad but I feel like the best reaction would have been to protect high-risk people and just let everyone else carry on as usual. Get it, fight it off, and go on with life.

It has but it keeps going through spikes. I think this is down to people coming and going from mandates. It will go down with lockdowns but shoot right back up when they are lifted.

It will come and go for a few years. Usually, viruses like this hang around for 2 to 4 years depending on the populations and what they do to prevent it and such. Sweden did a fantastic job.
