Football is by far the #1 sport I know that is really popular there. Basketball is also popular since they have their own team called Saigon Heat.
But yeah, the last two years Vietnam won a few soccer competitions or made it very high in the tournament and went out to celebrate it. They call it "đi bão" (storming) when going out in motorbikes to celebrate a win.

That's cool Jerry. I also read that they are really good at badminton and volleyball. I didn't think they would be good at volleyball but it looks like they are.
@ry I always thought they would be good at badminton and any kind of racket sports. I would have never guessed about volleyball because usually you have to be tall for volleyball and most Vietnamese people are short?
