After Sơn Tùng M-TP’s ‘Sky Tour: The Movie‘ premiered on Netflix in 2020, another Vietnamese artist and first Vietnamese rapper also joined the ranks of having their own documentary on Netflix. Since becoming one of Vietnam’s popular male rappers, Đen Vâu has received a lot of support from the public. On October 1st, 2021, Đen Vâu’s 10-year journey to art premiered on Netflix and YouTube called “Show Of Den”.
On the evening of September 20, the audience can see the show’s atmosphere and Đen Vâu‘s sharing in the process of preparing his first live show in the nearly 2-minute trailer MV on YouTube.

Đen Vâu confided that he wanted to do something to show his respect and gratitude for people who love him like creating a show. It is a really big challenge on the career path of an artist and Đen also knows he can do anything or not because Đen has not identified himself as an artist so far.
On November 9th, 2019, “Show Của Đen” took place at Military Zone 7 Gymnasium Center (Ho Chi Minh City) and once attracted more than 5000 spectators. Besides, it also features gorgeous female rappers and artists such as Vũ, Ngọt, Kimmese, Lynk Lee and Linh Cáo. Notably, the combination of hit owner “Trốn Tìm ” and singer Ngọc Linh and the unexpected appearance of Miss H’Hen Niê made the stage explode.
However, in 2021, he started getting his own Netflix documentary. He hopes that the premiere of this live show on Netflix and YouTube will be a gift for his fans who have not had the opportunity to come and enjoy this live show.

This is interesting. I don’t watch many documentaries but I am actually curious to learn more about him. He seems to live a pretty secretive life on the other end of the stick. Only lets us see what he wants.
This is pretty big news! Netflix is a huge stage. I can’t wait to see how it goes. I am not really into rap but I fully support Vietnam artists of all kinds getting the attention they deserve for their talents.
