A lot of places around the world have been getting hit by it. The UK had issued warnings about it and a lot of people have opted to stay in if they had cooling or found a cool place to go for the day.
I don't think we are. It has actually been cooler the last few days. We had a night thunderstorm today. It seems like it is heating up a lot next week though!
It was pretty hot over the weekend. Very humid too but it broke Monday with a storm that came through. It seems to have been much cooler since! I heard that some places were closing down events over it.
Yes. It was horrible for 3 days. I don't have air conditioning so I hardly slept. I am so happy as it cooled off today and tonight should be more comfortable.
The temps have been hot here but that is normal for summer.
I think places like the UK are having the most trouble it seems cause they are never prepared for it. I have a friend near London who said that people on her street were in their cars for hours the hottest day. Likely using the AC.
