I really wish the US gov would give out monthly stimulus checks of $2000 like in Canada so I can buy the new iphone coming out this month 😥
For being the wealthiest country in the world, we only received $1200 for 6 months. That only comes down to $200 per month and every month after that passes without a stimulus check it gets lower and lower.
Yeah, it'd be smart to do the $2000 a month in the US, but our politicians gotta keep putting it off. We've had like 20 new deals come up, and all been striked down. Just give the citizens some money so they can survive. One $1200 check isn't going to last for most people.
I would welcome $2000 a month. I'd take $1200 a month even. Just something. This pandemic is probably going to last well into 2021, so I sure hope they offer some kind of help soon. Because a couple $1200 checks isn't going to cut it for most people. Would just be better if I can move to Vietnam instead.
Americans always poke fun at Canadians and view them as their younger bro but honestly they are way ahead when it comes to taking care of their own people. They are also more united.
For that US need a new, loyal and people caring government.
I expect the situation to change now after Biden wins.
