I haven't in a long time. It is not something I celebrate. I did when I was a kid but that was because my family made a thing of it. We did New Year's Eve as well as New Year's Day. I tend to just treat both days like any other day. I do get take-away though on New Year's Eve. That is the only thing I have stuck to.
I spend new year's even with friends usually and new year's day I go to my parents' house for dinner with family. Nothing over the top. I don't go partying or anything. This year I will likely just spend time with my partner indoors since the weather has been messy.
I don't do anything on New Year's Eve, but I celebrate it with my family. They are very traditional and their New Year's Eve tradition is to go out for dinner and then spend the rest of the evening watching movies together.
Just usual family things. We have a family dinner to start the new year. It used to be a much larger celebration but everyone had their own families and moved away. New Years Eve is just another day for me.
I will be going to my brother's for new year eve. We always have a gathering and play games. Have seen we were in our teens. On the 1st we go to our parent's house and have a family dinner together.
Going to get some take-out food and chill at home tomorrow. I might go to my brother's for dinner on Sunday but I am undecided. I don't always go but I know he wants me to this year since more family is in town.
