Do you eat organ meats?

I was reading studies recently that said eating specific organ meats from animals can not only help outs heal but protect them as well as protect from other health concerns. I have never been able to eat them myself, well, unless they are "mixed in". I could not eat straight up liver, for example. It just grosses me out.

I do but only in certain dishes. I think they are very healthy for us but we are not meant to eat a lot of them. I started giving my cat freeze-dried beef hearts to help with his high blood pressure and it has normalized it. The vet was shocked. I didn't change his diet, I just add those to it.

I eat these sausage things, I can't remember what they are called. I used to eat them all the time as a kid from the local butcher and I never had teeth problems. I moved away and stopped eating them and my teeth started having trouble. My grandmother said it was because I stopped eating organ meats so I started eating them again recently.

Organ meats are loaded with nutrition and I never understood why people just get rid of them. You don't have to eat them as is. They can be mixed in with other things like soups and stews and you won't even know they are in there.

I don't. I am not sure what it is but I never liked the sound, smell, or look of organ meats. I tend to go for very basic meats. Probably not the healthiest parts of the animals either in terms of nutritional density.

I do from time to time but it has to be part of a recipe. As in it has to be an ingredient. I don't like to eat just organ meats, especially not from poultry.

I like some of them but I mostly don't eat them, not because I don't enjoy them but because they tend to be more expensive. I am not sure why. Maybe this is down to a meat shortage?

@thirdstrikeiii Really?? Organ meats are usually the cheapest because no one wants to eat them. Maybe it depends on which parts from which animals.
