A friend of mine told me I don't shop enough. I tend to only buy a few new things a year. Shoes I usually wear the same for a few years before I buy anything new. If I find a pair I like, they easily last me 5 years or more so I don't see the point in getting new ones. How often do you shop for new things?
I like to buy new pants, socks, and underwear every year but new tops, sweaters, jackets, I will buy those every other year and donate older clothing. Shoes, I am weird with. I tend to have a lot of pairs of shoes but I don't buy them that often. I also get a lot of these items as gifts from family and friends which is why I don't feel the need to buy stuff so much.
I only buy the necessary clothes and they can mix together. Or important occasions, I can also invest a little in myself. I don't pay attention to trends because I'm not a model
I like to refresh most items every 3 or 4 years. I typically only shop outside of this if I need to replace things. I don't really feel the need to buy often as I take care of my items.
