I feel like a scooter would be a lot better than a bike, but then I got to thinking, maybe the bike is better because it's cheaper overall. But, a scooter may be faster and easier on your body. What do you prefer though?
Bikes are cheaper (assuming they don't have motors) but scooters are more convenient if you do not wish to work out as you travel. I have rented both and the only time I prefer a bike is in areas that are very hilly.
I have never had experience with using either in terms of renting them. I always felt the easiest way is by foot or taxi if I need to travel THAT far. I get why people use them though. They just seem to be more of an inconvenience for me.
