Kai Dinh has finally returned to the Vietnamese music market with a brand-new song named “Thế Hệ Tan Vỡ”. This new song has a delicate melody and is narratively rich, showing the thoughts of young people that are in love.
It is said that the young musician Sivan, the creator of the songs “Đừng Nghe Máy” and “Để Dành Khi Thức Giấc” collaborates with Kai Đinh on this music project. When releasing the song “Thế Hệ Tan Vỡ”, Kai Đinh aimed to elicit amazing sensations from the audience whose relationship status is single.

In this new MV, Kai Đinh chose to make a fairly simple MV – just filmed the city at sunset with a phone screen showing only a message: “Are you okay?”. The MV’s lyrics are the confided words of a person who has spent the entire night awaiting a text message from their crush. The one who waited for hours, though, got no response.
After a period of producing MVs with a variety of styles, Kai Đinh found himself merging with a simple MV style, focusing mainly on lyrics to create a listening space as well as the best feeling for the audience.
The song “Thế Hệ Tan Vỡ” was written during the roughly four-month period of social isolation in Ho Chi Minh City, a period that will live in infamy for everyone, not just Kai Đinh. Sharing the chance to collaborate with Sivan, Kai Định said: “Despite coming from two distinct generations with very different upbringings and life experiences, we may share some of the same traits. We are people that frequently stay up late, frequently listen to and compose depressing music, and also have a large number of confidantes who are hardly ever verbally disclosed to others. People who do not typically converse with one another are brought close together by music.”

The MV “Thế Hệ Tan Vỡ” has now garnered more than 4.3M views and 23 thousand likes on YouTube and been available on Kai Đinh’s YouTube Channel.

Another amazing song! I actually found out about this one being released on an anime forum I am a member of. One of the members is from Vietnam and used this in her compilation video.
I have added it to my vpop playlist on YouTube. First time hearing it was a little bit ago. I wanted to comment and say it is a beautiful, soft song that I think really can touch a lot of people who have young love.
