I love that this city is so complex with different areas. Like you can feel like you are in an entirely different city going district to district.
I never really thought about each district being different from the other but when you explain it, I can see it. I am not sure which ones I have been too. My second trip to Vietnam was Ho Chi Minh City but I was not good with maps!
I agree with you. The districts in Ho Chi Minh City are very interesting, especially District 1 and District 3. The former has a lot of French architecture and the latter has a lot of Chinese architecture.
I think District 4 was my favorite overall when I was in Saigon. I am not sure I spent enough time in each area to know for certain though.
Saigon is a wonderful place. I used to think that I would end up loving this city less the more I traveled and the more I saw Vietnam especially. Still not the case. This city has everything you would expect and then some!
