Oh, you’ve got to check out Ho Chi Minh City, buddy! It’s like stepping into a whirlwind of culture and history. There’s so much to see and do, you won’t know where to start. Just remember, keep an eye on your stuff because those sneaky pickpockets are everywhere. And whatever you do, don’t gulp down that tap water like it’s some kind of refreshing cocktail. Trust me, your stomach won’t thank you for it. Lastly, when it comes to crossing the street, think of it as a real-life game of Frogger. The traffic can be wild, but don’t worry, you’ll get the hang of it. So, buckle up, my friend, because Ho Chi Minh City is waiting to blow your mind! By the way, have you ever tried Vietnamese cuisine? It’s out of this world!

The first time I went to Ho Chi Minh City, I fell in love. I normally don’t like cities but it felt different. Even though there was a lot going on, I didn’t feel overwhelmed. Unlike when I went to NYC. I couldn’t even breathe there. The air felt heavy and smelled like vomit!

Great guide! I think it is important for people to plan ahead when visiting a major city like this. Nothing worse than feeling like you missed out on your trip when you are packing your bags to head home.

@canabee11 I agree with this completely. I know one of the trips I went on a few years ago, I did not plan anything out and missed out on so much. It sucked because I didn’t have enough time to squeeze anything in either.

Ho Chi Minh City is beautiful. It is such an underrated place I find. I always hear of people talking about New York, Tokyo, etc. but seldom does it make a list for top cities of the world. I would put it in the top 5 easy.

@lofire More and more people are talking about it now though. I think once the economy booms and more attention is brought to the music, movies, and general entertainment, we will see a lot of people flocking to it.

I was in the city back in 2013 and I miss it so much! I did go on one of their city guides. I can’t remember what it was called but it was fantastic. I got to actually learn a lot about the buildings and the city’s growth.

Ho Chi Minh is a must-see for anyone going to Vietnam. There are a lot of amazing places but that city is incredible. It really puts places like New York City to shame.

I’ve been to Ho Chi Minh City and it’s a great city to visit. I’d suggest you check out the Ben Thanh Market. It’s full of local food, souvenirs, and beautiful art. You can find anything there!

And if you want to get out of the city for an afternoon or two, head down to the Mekong Delta. It’s beautiful and very peaceful.
