It is way to hot and humid for me! I have been to Florida during the warmer months and I couldn't manage a 10 minute bike ride. LOL

I think it sounds amazing but I certainly would not want to go biking anywhere that it is hot.

While I think it's great that people are exploring the city on bikes, I can't help but worry about the safety risks. With the heavy traffic and chaotic roads, it's important to take extra precautions and be aware of your surroundings.

If you are going to do this while on VK in Vietnam, it is always a good idea to protect your skin, mind the roads, and bring a spray bottle with you so you can stay cool. It gets VERY hot, even in the cooler months if you are exercising.

I never cared for bike riding, not since I was a kid. I know the last time I was in Vietnam, there was a warm period where I didn't even want to walk around much lest bike ride! I was making sure to get AC transportation everywhere lol

While biking in Ho Chi Minh City sounds like an exciting adventure, the traffic and congestion in that city is not for beginners. I hope that proper safety measures are taken and that visitors are aware of the risks involved before embarking on this journey. This goes for motorbiking in Ho Chi Minh City as well. I heard of so many stories of expats in Vietnam jumping on a motorbike their first time and getting injured. You need a good level of experience to ride bikes in Vietnam.

While biking in Ho Chi Minh City can be an exciting way to see the city, safety should be a top priority. Make sure to wear a real helmet, not those thin plastic ones.

Thanks for sharing that invaluable safety tip! It's vital to prioritize our safety when biking in Ho Chi Minh City, and investing in a reliable helmet is definitely a wise choice. Those flimsy plastic ones just won't cut it. By wearing a proper helmet, we can enjoy our biking adventures while keeping our noggin protected. And here's a little interesting fact for you: did you know that Ho Chi Minh City has over 2000 kilometers of bike lanes? So there's plenty of opportunity to explore the city on two wheels!

I would recommend a road bike or BMX bike if you are looking to bike around HCMC.

I had the best time biking in Ho Chi Minh City! The streets are incredibly bike-friendly and there are vending machines everywhere you turn so you can refuel easily.

I absolutely love biking around Ho Chi Minh City! The city is so beautiful and the bike lanes are perfect for exploring. The only downside is that it can be difficult to find a bike that is comfortable to ride, but overall it's a great way to get around.
