I really love places like this one where there is a rich culture even though it is open to visitors. A lot of tourist places end up losing too much of their culture to please visitors and I just don’t see that with Tam Dao.
The best part about Tam Dao is the people. The locals there are so friendly and welcoming to travelers, which makes it a great place to get an authentic taste of Vietnamese culture. It’s also a beautiful area with lots of natural beauty and great hiking trails.
@BenjaminNgo Absolutely! I have been to a number of places but this one has got to contain some of the nicest people I have ever met. I know people speak of manners in Japan and politeness but Tam Doa has Japan beat!
I love how interlaced nature is in this area. It is beautiful. I follow an account on Instagram of a woman who spent 3 months in Tam Dao earlier this year/late last year and WOW, the pictures and videos she got, are stunning.
