After a few days of putting the audience in suspense by revealing the teaser audio of her new project, on the 21st of October, Thiều Bảo Trâm is now back on the game with the MV “Một Mình Có Buồn Không”.
The song marked a subtle image change in her style of music production that we have never seen before.

By the time of the release, the MV has been rapidly garnered attention from the audiences, especially from Sơn Tùng M-TP fans (there is a rumor that Sơn Tùng M-TP and Thiều Bảo Trâm are dating each other). The majority of those comments complimented her performance, particularly on the ear-catching and heart-touching melody of the song. Besides, the action scene of Thiều Bảo Trâm is incredibly awesome.

The song is a collaboration with Lou Hoàng, one of the most prevailing singers in Vietnam, and Thiều Bảo Trâm. Besides that, the song was composed by a renowned songwriter Lyly and produced by music producer-rapper Rhymastic who created a bundle of big hits in the Vietnamese music game. Earlier, Thiều Bảo Trâm also amazed audiences when revealing the poster of the song with her having bloody scars on her face along with a clip, and a series of behind-the-scenes photos.

Those teasers showed her diligence and hardworking ethics on making the new product worth watching. We can see that the song “Một Mình Có Buồn Không” belongs to the R&B music genre which is inherently pianissimo and soothing to listen to. It is also different from all the previous tunes that she used to perform. Thiều Bảo Trâm succeeded in proving that she made much progress in her singing voice.

The MV revolves around the story of Hải An and Trần Phong, starred by Thiều Bảo Trâm and Hoàng Trung. Trần Phong, a handsome, warm, and romantic guy comes to Hải An’s life by the lead of an old female shop owner.

That old lady used to give Hải An a clover – embroidered handkerchief, and told her that “do not ignore the love that is meant to you”. One more intriguing thing about the MV is the statement “Bạo lực không thể giải quyết được bạo lực – Violence cannot be solved by itself”. It is such a meaningful human cultural attitude that the MV aimed to deliver.
