I think it is one of the best places if you want to experience a different kind of life, culture and food that you were not used to. It still amazes me that so many people overlook it. I think for anyone who is younger and wants somewhere safe and affordable to travel, it is at the top of the list.

I think Vietnam is so underrated with younger travelers. They all seem to want to go to Mexico, Japan, etc. but I don’t hear of them going to Vietnam hardly ever.
@vinami More and more younger people are going though now because travel has been made to be so expensive. You can get a lot for your money going there. I think Mexico is just easier and cheaper because it is closer to the US and Canada.
I have always considered it to be the cheapest Asian country to visit while still having access to so much food, culture, events, and everything else. I mean they have so much going on right now and you are spoiled for choice considering most things in Vietnam at not expensive when compared to other Asian countries.
