I’ve been to the Mekong Delta, and I can tell you that Ben Tre is a great place to start for some amazing Vietnamese food. The people are friendly and the sights are beautiful.

If you’re looking for a little bit more adventure, I’d recommend taking a boat ride on the river. The water is clear, fresh, and full of life.

The next day, I’d recommend going to My Tho. It’s another great place for food and culture and it’s only about an hour away from Ben Tre by car or train!
