Tay Ninh is an amazing place. I have been there twice. Planning on going back in the near future. It has to be one of if not my most favorite spot in Vietnam.

I have never been to Tay Ninh and really hadn’t heard much about it.
It looks like a really beautiful place though! I wish I was able to travel more. I have to really pick and choose when I do get to travel as I seldom do, maybe once every 3 to 5 years :(

I’ve been to Tay Ninh and it was one of the most memorable trips I’ve ever taken. The food is great, but there’s also so much more to do! I highly recommend visiting during the day and taking a bike ride through the rice fields. You can also watch traditional dance performances in the evening.

@britishburton What time of the year did you go? I feel like the timing is everything for a location like this. Having good weather can make or break it.

@kikobeep I went to Tay Ninh in the summer. I was there for about a week, and it was really hot.

The Cao Dai temple sounds very interesting! Knowing they have a blend of Buddhism, Christianity, and Taoism makes me curious about this. I was raised a Christian but have always been open to concepts and teaching of Buddhism and Taoism. Neat!

@caphekitty I was thinking the same thing. I rarely see regions like this coming together for one temple. I would imagine everyone in this area is loving and respectful of one another. I can’t see this happening in many other places.

I really enjoyed reading this post. I’ve been to Tay Ninh many times, and it’s a beautiful place. I’ve always wanted to go back and take a tour of the Cu Chi tunnels, but it’s always been hard to find a tour that’s available in English. It will be interesting to see what new tours are available now that the tunnels have been opened up to the public.

Thanks for sharing!
